The Brownstone Experience Foundation

The Brownstone Experience's mission is to prepare tomorrow's leaders in an environment of immersion learning and experience. Our innovative educational programs for collegiates and young adults from the United States and Canada are designed to foster commitment to community and social responsibility.

With New York City as the drawing card, young adults, aged 18-28, join our 10-day Brownstone Metro Adventures or The Brownstone Leadership Weekends. Living on-site in The Brownstone Building, together they partake of the City's rich array of cultural and historical treasures, explore their own history and heritage and forge meaningful relationships with their peers and group leaders.

The Brownstone building is located in the heart of the East Village near many schools of higher learning, including New York University, The New School for Social Research, Fashion Institute of Technology, Stern College, Parsons School of Design, Cooper Union and Cardozo School of Law. Within walking distance to many attractions, it is adjacent to public transportation hubs, off-Broadway theatres and university based events.

The six-story Brownstone will feature tastefully appointed meeting rooms and classrooms, a library, sleeping accommodations, lounge, a dining hall and kitchen, as well as a garden and a rooftop terrace.

Every year, over 5000 collegiates and young adults will return home from The Brownstone Experience, inspired, energized and ready to change the world.
